2013!

        So as you may have noticed, I been on a blog break. This past last year was so amazing and crazy. It also went by super fast. I have been busy at work and school and I found myself not having the time to blog. But it is 2014! and part of my new years resolution is to capture and share all of my adventures. So I am back guys! Here is to a new year and new beginnings!

...but before I can start here is a small recap of how 2013 went:

We got 2013 year passes for Disneyland so there were lots of random trips to the happiest place on earth! 

In October two of my friends from work and I went to see Paramore. It was so much fun!

Hello 2012!

     What a night, I had. I started of my NYE by going over to my Grandpas. There, I saved his life! A sliding bar from a tent we were putting up was about to stab him in the back and I pushed out of the way, Nothing big, but you could say I am a Hero. I am just glad this was avoided and we didn't have to spend the day at the ER.
 
     Later on, I went over the Emmanuel's house where I celebrated our New year's. We made lots of appetizers, played some Wii, goofed around, and waited for midnight. Then it was Happy NEW YEAR!!

Plus, It was so cold last night!

I finished off the night at home with my cat. 

She was super scared with all the Firework noise and gunshots, so I was happy to be home to keep her safe.

Day at the Zoo

   Today Emmanuel took Nathan and I to the Zoo. We spent the whole day walking & looking at all the animals. It was so much fun plus I saw a lot of cute animals. Some which I wanted to take home with me.

This trip to the Zoo was so much fun. Not only did we get to see many of the animals out of their caves but we also got a great workout. Hopefully tomorrow we have twice the fun at Sea world.

Mr. Mechanical Engineer

Working on his Senior Project

      Words can not began to describe the happiness I am feeling for Emmanuel. For the past 4 years we have seen him achieve so much with his Engineering education. His ambition has always been present in his education, which is reflected by all the sleepless nights he spent studying, the respect he gained from his colleagues, not to mention his professors who see a lot of potential in him, being in the Dean's list semester after semester, and graduating from college with a well payed engineering job.

     To him, this is barely the beginning. He says he plans on going to graduate school next semester to continue on to his Masters while working full time as an airframes structures engineer for the United States Department of Defense supporting the F/A-18E/F & EA-18G warfighters. He said to celebrate his Graduation when he gets his Master's but this is such a big milestone that I just had to write about him graduating with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 

    To celebrate his Graduation, his Mom, Perla, Nathan, and I took him out to dinner. There, we celebrated him and showed him how proud he has made us all. They got to see, first hand, all the hard work he had to do every night after night and how he still managed to graduate with exemplary grades. You could see it in their eyes how happy they were. Such an amazing, inspiring night.

Movember

I can't believe it's November already! Where did the year go?  

Well, if you haven't heard yet it's No Shave November. So in participation towards Prostate awareness month, Emmanuel has decided to grow himself a Mustache, not a beard, just the Mustache. I will be documenting his Mustache growth (with pictures)...& hoping that on December 1st he shaves it off. You can also find us at Movember (make sure to register and/or donate for the cause!)
