My week...

Happy 1st day of March! 

(only 29 more days till I am 24, oh boy!)

As you can tell from my slight absence on the blogosphere, I been very busy. 

How you may ask? Well, for starters I got scheduled to work six days in a row, I am fighting a cold, and I been super busy studying for three course finals. But today, I worked my last day so I have Friday (Payday!), part of Saturday, and Sunday off. So time to relax, recuperate from this cold/cough, and get some A's on my finals. Btw, I asked my manager for a cut on my hours because going to school full time and working 8 hours a day is making me feel super overwhelmed. Plus I noticed that Booboos has been so depressed. Hopefully this works out for the best. See ya next week! 

Big favor: Please send Kaelah lots of radiation of hope. Her indoor cat Enid has sneaked out and she hasn't come home. I hope she returns safely, soon! 

My week...

Lately I feel that all my posts contain the Starbucks pictures. But what can I say! I been spending so much time working full time and going to school. Seriously, today is my first day off since last Friday, that is four 8 hour work days!

 I am exhausted.

For those of you who have been asking, I am loving my job! Now that the first week is over, my training is over and I am now a certified Barista. Yay! All I need now is to practice my cup coding and remembering all the coffee recipes. And yes, this is as hard as it sounds but practice makes perfect and I already feel more confident with every work day. The only bad thing is that I feel so mentally exhausted by the time I clock out. Hopefully this diminishes with time because I really, really, really enjoy going to work. 

Another little highlight of my week is that I am finally learning how to drive. Yes, I am almost 24 and I am barely learning how to drive. I am learning to overcome my driving paranoia. So I am taking the wheel and, hopefully, by the end of the year I will be a licensed driver. Imagine, I will be able to drive myself to The mall!

My week...

What a week! 

Saturday, I woke up to awesome feathered hair. It was also my last weekend being unemployed so in celebration to that I spend most of the day in my pj's and laying in my bed watching nothing but bad TV, sure am going to miss this little lazy things.

Sunday/Monday were my homework days. I spend the majority of my time reading and preparing for my midterms. Fun right...oh, I did go over to my Grandpa's to eat fish tacos, nom!

Tuesday (Valentines day), it was my first day of work at Starbucks! after that, nothing big happened because Emmanuel and I postponed our Valentines for Friday. So stay tuned :)

Wednesday, was my day off. Early in the morning my mother, twin, and I went to Jack in the box for breakfast then we went to Walmart to look around. Why? Idk, my family is weird like that (I would personally gone to the mall instead, lol)

Thursday, I work my first 8 hour shift. By the end of my shift, I was TIRED! After I got off, I headed over to Manny's school where I spend another 8 hours doing homework and studying, I also squeezed in this lovely recap of my week >.< Very tire some day :(

Tomorrow, Friday, Emmanuel and I are going to celebrate our belated Valentines day. Emmanuel is keeping our date a secret. I am very excited to find out what we are doing :)

My week...

Hi! Again. I think Thursday's are a better day to do my recap/highlights of my week because they won't intersect with Meowsday :) So this is going to be a short post::

On Monday, I received my schedule for Starbucks, I start on Valentines Day! plus it looks like a very busy first week. We also went over the uniform. So on Tuesday, Emmanuel and I went to buy my Black Uniform, now I can't wait to start working! Wednesday was OK. I cleaned my room and rearrange some stuff that way I can have better lighting for my outfit/weight loss post pictures. Which brings me to today, Thursday: Homework. I spent most of my day reading and finishing up some assignments for this week. And as you can see from the picture, Booboos never left my side <333

I can't believe January is over! This year is going by so fast. Here are some Highlights of my week: 

Monday: I woke up to find my dresser down on the floor (Thanks Booboos). Then spend most of the day reading and doing homework. I also had to endure Booboos and her meowing--Poor baby was in heat-- She was Meowing and climbing on everything and anything. 

She even climbed up on Emmanuel's back, hehe.

Tuesday: I had a semi Interview at Panda Express but I ended up only turning in an application. Then later on I accompanied Emmanuel to school where I worked on some things for school. 

Wednesday: was a big day for me! I went to an interview at Starbucks and left with a job :)

 Actually: I left, went home, and then hours later got the call. I was jumping up and down the rest of the day!!! The biggest scare of my day was when the power went out and my phone had 10% battery. I was scared I was going to miss the Starbucks call. 

Thursday: I went with my mom to her MRI. She has had some health scares lately and we hope to find out what is going on soon. After her doctor's appointment we met up with her Boyfriend at a Mexican food spot.  My day ended when I went to Emmanuel's school to finish up some homework. 

Friday: I went with my mom to the Doctor, again. While waiting in the waiting room I had a neat surprise when this two girls, Martha and Chantal, recognized me from our old neighborhood. At first I was very confuse but then I remember who they were: My Sailor Moon pals! This two girls, sisters, lived down the street from my house and we would always play with our Sailor Moon barbies. Oh, the 90's. It was so nice to see them again. I hope to be able to keep in touch with them >.< 

For our Friday night date, Emmanuel and I went to Red Robin to eat some burgers. I ordered the endless Strawberry freckled Lemonade, It's so delicious!

Saturday: Emmanuel's family and I headed out to baseball tryouts then to Long John Silver's for Dinner. Afterwards we went to Seaport village. I never been there on a Saturday, so I had a great time seeing all the  side walk acts. My favorite was the rock balancing act. 

Sunday: Super Bowl! I didn't really watch it because I was busy doing homework and such but I did take a break to watch the Queen Perform. All hail Madonna, she was amazing!

Monday, Booboos got a new pink collared. I really liked this shade of pink with her gray/white fur

Tuesday-Thursday, My twin came over and spend a few nights at my house. She even brought her little buddy Jeffrey (The Giraffe) Booboos really liked him :)

 Thursday I woke up extra early and headed over to Chipotle Mexican Grill for a job Interview. After My interview, I went home and found my Forever 21 package waiting for me at the door step. It was my dress and earrings that I plan on wearing for Valentines day, Eeep! Later on, I went to school with Emmanuel. I finished my homework before Emmanuel got out of class so I went for a walk around the old library. I was surprise to see that the bathrooms have tall mirrors.  

Then Friday, before our my meltown, Emmanuel and I spent the day at SDSU. We bought some Slurpees and headed to the rooftop of one of the parking buildings. There we watched all the cars pass by and drank our slurpees. It was a beautiful quality time together. 

Saturday morning, I woke up early, did some cleaning, and spent a great deal of time giving Booboos a massage. Later on I went over to Emmanuel's house to eat fish tacos and watch Paul then Beauty in the Beast.

Lastly, on Sunday I Worked out on the Ddr for a whole hour. That is a record because I usually have to stop early due to the noise. Later on I watched Armageddon (made me cry), and had myself a nice evening  by myself wish listing items on Forever 21 & Rowme.

My week...

    On Thursday, Emmanuel started his first day of graduate school and I got to go with him to campus. There, I headed over to the Library while he was in class and I got to finished some assignments for my philosophy course. I liked how much work I got done so I think I might go with him to school every Thursday from now on.

Then Friday... well, you know what happened.

Saturday was alright. I din't get to see Emmanuel because I had a few things to do at home. But Funny thing is that while I was busy looking for some papers I needed, I found our old Loteria. My family and I took a break from working and spend a whole hour after dinner, playing. I was the biggest winner and ended up with 6 whole dollars. OH YEAH! I also went over to my grandpa's to eat some Posole and look at the Chickens. 


Sunday was my Monday. I spend most of my time in front of the computer finishing up some course work. I also applied for jobs (which Emmanuel helped me with, a lot). I hope I get a call soon!

My week

Here is a short recap of what I did last weekend: 

Last Saturday, I spend a great deal watching Scary movies and eating Carne asada Fries by myself.

On Sunday,  I went over to my Grandpa & Uncle's house to spend sometime with my new best friend: Tuxedo (My uncle's new cat). 

Both nights, Emmanuel came over and we finished watching American Horror Story. It had a great ending but I thought they could of cut the last episode out: Useless!

      It was a nice weekend, I got to relax even though it was my first week back to college. 

 Btw, Underworld Awakening comes out tomorrow, Finally!
