Halloween 2012

Can you believe Halloween is over! It went by too quickly. Like usual, I spent the entire month watching Horror film after Horror film. In a nutshell, it was a great Halloween and I can not wait for next year to come. Only 365 more days till next Halloween!

My last minute Cat Face.

My (permanent) Halloween decor in my room.

And a very spooky Pumpkin for my little Pumpkin.

Trick-or-treat!

Manny and I spend the day at his school were we attended a Peruvian music concert.
Afterwards we took Nathan Trick or Treating around my neighborhood.
I ended up not dressing up as a cat or Snow White but I did wear my cute skull scarf.

Here are some pictures of  our Halloween 2011:

My hair got so frizzy after while we were trick or treating!
It was so much fun! We managed to gather a lot of candy even though it was already late.

Hawaiian food and Beetleguese

Last night was a relaxing sort of date night. We began our night by going to Walmart for Dinner items.

Cute Piggy bank at Walmart
But ended up leaving everything cause we remember we wanted to tryout this place Manny's colleague had recommended, L&L Hawaiian Barbecue.

We got Bbq chicken and Chicken Katsu (delicious) To-Go
and headed over to my house where we watched Hocus Pocus and Beetlejuice.

After we finish eating and watching the movies we went out for ice cream. It was another lovely night.

Btw, I reactivated my Samsung Fascinate so expect a lot more pictures on my future posts.
Specially with Halloween just a week away!

What I wore:

Basic Petar pan collar blouse,
Black jeans w/skulls on the back pockets,
black sneakers,
                                                                                      & my black cardigan

Pumpkin carving and crafts

Hello everybody!
Yesterday I had an awesome date night with my love. Our night out consisted of going to a "pumpkin patch" at our local mall.  Unfortunately it wasn't set up this year so we headed over to Walmart where I bought a 3 lbs pumpkin, it was a tiny little thing, and a few other things. I also bought myself knitting and crocheting tools! Plus a lovely purple yarn.
Background story: When I was 5, my Nana taught me how to: knit blankets & scarfs, sew dresses & skirts, crochet flowers, hearts, little cupcakes & tea cups. But when she passed away a few years later, I stopped because my mother didn't want to fund my creativity. Now that I am older, I want to pick it up again and hopefully create a few lovely things. Part of my inspiration to start up again comes from this lovely lady TinyTangerines. She crochets beautiful things. Including Bows! (Go check her out).
After our trip to Walmart, we headed to my house where I started to carve my pumpkin. As soon as I Started I found myself sweating. Who knew carving pumpkins would be a work out. In any case, I didn't finish because we went to Manny's house cause his mom was home alone. I wanted to cheer her up so I let her talk about the good old days <333. Then next thing we know it was 12 o'clock. It was a great ending to another wonderful date night.

Btw, Anybody else feeling nostalgic over the new fall weather?
