At the Midway!

Last Sunday Manny, Nathan, and I went our for lunch and a trip to the museum.
For lunch we went to a place called Five guys. I have heard of this place before and I was thankful that there was one at Manny's base.
After lunch we headed down to seaport village in San Diego.
There we boarded the USS midway where we took a tour inside the carrier. I felt claustrophobic.

I was glad when we hit the deck again.
Then we went up to the top of the carrier were all the aircrafts are.

While we went around, Manny was telling me about each and one of the Airplanes.
He mainly explain to me about an airplane he helped engineer last year. I managed to capture a picture while he wasn't looking. That's the plane behind him.

Nathan and Manny
It was another lovely day out with my two best men.

I almost forgot!
LATER THAT NIGHT,
Emmanuel Brought his Yu-gi-oh card decks and we played some kick ass game. I even Won :)

Perla's Birthday weekend

Last Friday was Manny's sister's Birthday.
So we had a two day family celebration on Friday and Saturday.

Friday:
I went to Manny's house for dinner. We spent the night sitting in the living room eating grapes, cheese, strawberries. Ice cream Birthday cake! and Having a good time looking at old pictures and enjoying every bodies company.

Saturday:
We all went out for breakfast at Hob nob Hill in downtown.

The food was amazing!
I had a spinach, cream cheese & avocado omelette. I died.
After spending a couple of hours talking and drinking coffee we realized it was probably time to go since the waitress no longer was bringing out hot coffee. But we were having so much fun gossiping that we decided to head over to Balboa park. Plus Nathan was so restless and he could use some fresh air away from all the adult talk.
While at the park,  I was so hot out that even under the shade of the tree I was sweating like a pig! Manny bought us a Rainbow Snow cone. It hit the spot.

After our trip to the park we went out to buy Perla her birthday gifts. Since she was going out that night and needed something hot to wear we went to a place called Toda moda (All Fashion). It was certainly a fun day.

Movies & chilli dogs

For tonight's date night, we went to the movies to watch

Afterwards, we went to Wienerschnitzel and ate chilli dogs. I love Chilli dogs.

This is what I wore:

It was a very typical date night for us but I really had fun. I enjoyed the movie because of the action & emotional appeal. Plus, by the time the movie ended I was starving so the Chilli dogs & lemonade were delicious. Lovely night.

Monday surprise datenight

Today, while I was at my house, Manny invited me to the public library. He needed to check out some books for his new project at work. While he was looking for his macro and visual Exel books I was roaming around the hall of books when I came across this!

I thought that was hilarious...
Then afterwards we headed to Borders because Manny still needed 1 more book that the library didn't have. After Borders, I was hungry, so we stopped at the Johnny Rocket's on the malls food court. There we order a burger with fries plus a Strawberry Milkshake. I regret not getting a malt since the shake was Yummy!

Finally, we headed to Target because I been wanting to dye my hair Blue black. Unfortunately I couldn't find the blue black dye but while I was looking for regular black I noticed this new Loreal Midnight collection. I immediately fell in love with the color! So I am now dying my hair violet soft black. I hope it turns out good cause I really, really do love the shade.  But all in all, it was a nice surprise date with Manny.
